With all the changes to SOV mechanics / Capital mechanics and Fighter Changes with drones and crap getting placed all over, I would like to make a suggestion.
A one time consolidation button that would consolidate all assets to a station of choice. The reason is that after playing for years, and the changes that have been made to SOV, I think it would be a nice gesture on CCP's part to say, "that because we are radically changing the game you have invested so much time in, we are graciously allowing you to consolidate your assets in a location of YOUR choosing. Because we (CCP) can continuously give ourselves "do-overs" you the player base should get at least one "do-over" as well."
Reasoning here is that assets that I cannot get too are useless and provide no opportunity for content generation. And unlike Phobe changes (you know the kind that only effected a small percentage of the player base) this consolidation would be for everyone, all nice and fair like.
Just my two cents.

Actually, I do have stuff in VALE, and about 75 other places in EVE, and at one point in time it was only moderately difficult to get around to collect it, given enough cyno's and a long Saturday. Now, however it is a mind numbingly argues process to consolidate assets regardless of where they are. On top I think that this type of reprieve from unwarranted complexity would go a long way to possibly bring back those that left because of the Phoebe catastrophe.
Also this speaks to the now defunct contract mechanism that would have allowed me to at least put stuff up on contract. Now I have to fly around to each region to do that. In a game that already takes hours to play at any given sitting, please don't make it even longer to do simple stuff.
And you probably do not have any problem with the magical teleportation of assets to other places when citadels get destroyed...so the concept is not new to CCP or their way of thinking. Kinda blows a hole in your asset denial tactic...

I can understand the issue with running around and collecting a load of stuff from all over eve and how tiresome and boring it can be and I could see this one hit wonder being good for that but for people who are involved with the taking and holding of null sec space I dont think this would be a good thing to have.
Present situation aside, as someone who has been involved in SOV warfare, I could care less if peoples crap is stuck in the station I now took over or not. It truly does not matter.

While I agree with you whole heartedly about using player run services, I would rather insist CCP fix my issues, like everyone else.

What's to prevent me from making a new account, contracting all my stuff to the new character, hitting the 'move all button' and re-contracting it back? Basically for 15$, I have unlimited mobility. Then when I feel like moving to a new alliance, 15$ moves all my stuff to the new base, and another 15$ moves me back the night before they lose sov.
It's best to keep everyone at the same level where there's opportunity costs to having stuff outside of Jita 4-4.
There are a few asset liquidation services available in addition to Black Frog, etc. You may want to try them out.
Make it a timed event, i.e. You can only do this during the month of October in conjunction with EVE Vegas, then never again...unless of course CCP changes the game so dramatically that it become necessary

We all have crap all over. It's there because:
1. We didn't think far enough ahead to keep all our stuff consolidated. 2. Someone was better and took our station away from us. 3. We were too lazy to move it when we should have.
Yeah contracts changed and that sux.... meh. CCP doesn't have to own our poor decisions.
Think about rolling up a noob, putting him in the null station you lost via joining whatever crap alliance now owns it. Fly a stabbed inty out far enough to make a contract. Make a quick friend in the crappy alliance and have it JF'd out to jita on the next round trip. Sure it's work, but if you want something bad enough.....
Blah Blah Blah...
This is not about Game play, it is about the fact that when our stuff was spread to kingdom come it was less time consuming to round up, but with the MAJOR changes made to the game, I am just saying it would be a nice gesture (Yes a Gift if you will) from CCP to let us, reconsolidate one time in the life of a character. I would equate this to a very restrictive Neural Remap. Yes thats it, a one time assets remap.

Alternative suggestion (to help the OP who has "stuff" lying all over Eden)
++ "Stuff" stays in a starbase for a limited time [say 3 months]. If you don't visit the starbase in that time, it is automatically either put up on a "Hanger Clear-out" Contract and sold, proceeds going to the sov holder (or CODE), or else it's reprocessed and the proceeds sent to Upwell to support new Citadels.
Or CCP could just make it vanish, and apply the "worth" towards PLEXes for starving refugees.
No thank you, while I do appreciate all that CODE does for the game they can keep their grubby little high sec griefer hands off my stuff, and Upwell is evil for introducing and advertising Space Cities that hard working planet dwellers see as an escape only to be brutally murdered by capsules because it's shinny...
